Wilson McCann is a high-powered CEO whose personal priorities were severely out of whack. He lost his company, his mother, his dog and the love of his life. Driven to his knees, he found God. Three years later, the nation's economic deterioration impacts his friends' livelihood, and the investors in his new company threaten to sell out. A national telecommunications firm vies with an unscrupulous hedge fund operator to acquire McCann's company, and McCann comes face-to-face with the need to commit totally to his faith and his company - to "sell out" to God and the beautiful woman God has sent to stand beside him. Set against the backdrop of greed-driven corporate espionage, the potential collapse of the nation's financial system, and misplaced priorities, Sell Out is the compelling story of a man seeking to know what it means to love God with all of his heart, soul, mind and strength.

I just finished reading Robert W. Zinnecker's most recent novel, SELL OUT. It is an engaging, intelligent, entertaining and moving read.Because the novel is a sequel to ACQUISITION, Zinnecker's first novel, it begins with a reintroduction of many of the previous cast of characters. It is like a family reunion, where one has just a few moments with each relative to become reacquainted. Reunions, as I have experienced, can be celebrative events. But sometimes there may be a problematic moment. In the reunion of SELL OUT characters there is such a moment, an element of betrayal and intrigue, in this case cyber intrigue. It is a thread that begins early and appears again and again throughout the story, until it becomes apparent that it is a problem which must be resolved.
This is the story construct, the world of finance and investment, a world very familiar to Robert Zinnecker. What engages me in this maze of finance and intrigue would be two things - complex human relationships and faith experiences... and, by the way, a couple of lovable dogs.
Though the story is filled with business information outside of my realm of experience, it is the human relationship and faith stories that kept me totally focused; and oh, did I mention the dogs!
I don't often get emotionally involved with fiction, but at least seven times while reading this novel I was moved to tears.
As a person of faith, I appreciate the biblical component and did not find it artificial nor intrusive. It is like an adhesive which binds the story together.
The Estes Park scenic references really drew me in, as I spent 22 summers working there at a guest ranch and hiking around Bear Lake and up to Nymph and Emerald Lakes. My wife and I also enjoyed lunch together once with Bob and his wife, Elaine, at the Grubstake Inn. All of this made the story for me especially three dimensional.
Thank you, Bob, for another extraordinary read.

Sell Out Robert W Zinnecker 9781478710837 Books Reviews
I found "Sell Out " to be easy/compelling and very enjoyable to read. I found it hard to put down and completed it in two sittings. I enjoyed the characters, multiple plots and the trip down memory lane in the telecommunications industry. I personally identified with several of the references. There is a lesson in finding your faith and the necessity to restore/maintain spiritual passion. I highly recommend this book.
I found Robert Zinnecker's book “Sell Out” to be excellent and hard to put down, reading it in just a few days. It is a story of several people's lives from the world of telecommunications, investment banking and finance from the city to life in a rural community. It is a story with complex relationships amongst these individuals and their faith journey. I could easily relate to a number of the locations described having been to the places described. Having worked in both telecommunications and within realm of acquisitions and financing of companies, I found the stories to be very realistic. As a person of faith I found that the spiritual journeys of the various individuals were realistic and that readers will learn more of what experiencing God's presence is like.
This is a sequel to the book Acquisition by Robert Zinnecker which was also an excellent book.
I highly recommend this book!
